Eee, I just registered for AC '08. If you're reading this and you'll be there, let me know, yo.

And I just needed something to get rid of my old journal entry. Speaking of my old journal entry, the tables have been turned... that is to say, I've acquired a job on-campus doing nude modeling for art classes. Pays well, time goes by surprisingly fast, but one's muscles can become sore after holding a pose for so long.

I hope to nab a job as a writing tutor for next semester.

Originally, yes. But it has turned out to actually be a lot better of a job than I thought it would. For example, the instructors will give you a 5- to 15-minute break for every 30 minute pose, and of course it's paid. The students are a mature but amusing bunch (as most art majors are). I can listen in on the class and pick up any drawing tips the instructors dole out to their students--the instructors, by the way, who are always friendly and appreciative of the help. I could go on...

But I'd still rather tutor students in writing.

I don't know if I want to go this year or if I have the money.

Because I was talking to someone once and the basic costs for everything there is like $400-600 dollars IF you share a room with like 4 people.
Then I have to find someone to room with...so yeah.
